However, amidst their pursuit of knowledge, these students face a fundamental challenge: access to clean water. Many of them come from marginalized backgrounds, residing in slums where basic necessities are often scarce. Yet, within the walls of SKZ Model School, we are determined to make a difference.
In the crowded streets of Lahore’s slums, clean water is a luxury that few can afford. The students of SKZ Model School face the daily struggle of quenching their thirst with water of questionable quality, risking their health and well-being in the process. Dehydration, waterborne illnesses, and absenteeism due to health issues are rampant, hindering their ability to learn and thrive academically.
At the SKZ Foundation, we believe that every child deserves access to clean water, irrespective of their socio-economic background.
