Where Hope Meets Education

After conquering Thamacho, SKZ Model School moved its interest to Arincho in Tissar, Shiggar Valley, Gilgit Baltistan where the living situation of the locals was very harsh.

People in Arincho have to face the problem of water scarcity because there was no proper channel for water pipelines. SKZ initiated the setup of pipelines in Arincho but in winter when there is heavy snow, all the pipelines would get clogged up and froze.

Arincho Fighting Life

People drink water from ponds and filter it according to their own available resources because there is no proper system of water.
Being in a remote northern region, Arincho had to face a severe shortage of basic resources.
People of Arincho are currently living from hand to mouth and the ratio of educated individuals is very low.
There are no roads and pathways and people have to go down difficult areas to get their daily chores done.

A Brighter Tomorrow: SKZ's Impactful School in Arincho

After Thamacho, SKZ made sure that the people of Arincho were not deprived of education.
It is quite fascinating that all the children of Arincho are admitted to these SKZ model schools.
There were buildings that needed to be renovated and SKZ transformed them into small schools.
We provide uniforms, backpacks, notes, and shoes to our kids twice a year in an effort to foster equality and a sense of community. This strategy removes socioeconomic inequalities and promotes a stimulating learning environment.
